Water & Domestic Systems
Fresh Water
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tank capacity | ~450 L |
| Fill point | Port side deck (labelled WATER or EAU) |
| Pump | Electric (12V) — switch at main panel |
| Hot water | 40 L boiler (Quick BO20UT) |
| Hot water sources | Engine heat exchanger OR shore power/Combimaster |
Heating hot water: - Engine: Run engine for 20–30 minutes — boiler heats via heat exchanger - Shore power: Mastervolt Combimaster heats the boiler when on 230V
Water conservation: At anchor, a full tank lasts 3–5 days for 4 people with normal use. Turn the pump off at the panel when leaving the boat — a stuck float valve or dripping tap will empty the tank silently.
Filling: Only use marina drinking water supply. Fill slowly — the vent is nearby and overflows quickly when full.
Toilets (Heads)
Critical rule
Nothing goes in the toilet except human waste. No toilet paper, no wipes, no cotton balls. Use the bin provided in every head. Clearing a blocked macerator is an extremely unpleasant job.
Jabsco Quiet Flush (Electric)
Both heads have the Jabsco Quiet Flush electric macerator toilet.
To flush:
- Press and hold the flush button
- Hold until the bowl is completely clear and the macerator sound changes — this takes several seconds
- Release the button
Filling the bowl: Press the button briefly to add water before use (optional but recommended).
Black Water Tanks
- Capacity: ~85 L per head
- Deck pump-out fitting: For emptying at marina pump-out stations
- Seacock: For offshore discharge (check local regulations — within 3 nm of Croatia coastline, discharge is restricted)
- Tank level is monitored by the Simarine SCP220H display
Galley
Stove — ENO 3-burner Gas
3-burner LPG gas stove with oven. Gas bottle is stowed in the cockpit gas locker.
To use:
- Open the gas seacock in the cockpit gas locker
- On the stove — press and hold the burner knob, turn to ignite
- Hold for ~5 seconds after flame appears (thermocouple warmup)
- When finished cooking, close the gas seacock in the cockpit
Always close gas when not cooking
Close the cockpit gas seacock after every use. Gas in an enclosed space is a serious fire and explosion risk.
Fridge
12V compressor fridge, ~135 L. Always on when at anchor or in marina. Pre-cool before provisioning — a warm fridge loaded with warm groceries will struggle.
Power use: ~4–5 A average draw. Over 24 hours at anchor, that's ~100–120 Ah — roughly the entire house battery bank. Make sure you are charging (engine or solar) regularly.
Sink
Double stainless steel sink with mixer tap. Drain goes overboard via seacock. Ensure the seacock is open (it usually is).
Dishwasher (if fitted)
Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer — single-drawer marine unit. Uses fresh water. Use sparingly at anchor to conserve water.
Entertainment — Fusion Stereo
Fusion Apollo RA670 head unit in the saloon, with:
- NRX300 remote at the helm (wireless)
- ERX400 remote (secondary zone control)
- Speakers in saloon (×2) and cockpit (×2)
Zone control: The Fusion system supports multiple audio zones. Saloon and cockpit can play independently or together.
Connectivity: Bluetooth, AUX input, USB. The BT100 Bluetooth dongle allows wireless pairing.
Bilge Pumps
| Pump | Type | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Electric auto | Float-switch operated | Always on — check it is in auto mode |
| Manual | In cockpit | Backup — use if electric fails or for large ingress |
Check the bilge is dry before every departure. If the electric bilge pump is cycling frequently, investigate the source of water — don't just pump and go.
